Dwayne Stanton started his business in 2008 as a general remodeling contractor. However, after receiving multiple requests to restore faded, wood doors, he recognized a larger scale need for door refinishing. That rising demand prompted him to shift his company’s focus and devote full time efforts to addressing homeowners’ front door needs.

Dallas Door Refinishing currently employs six highly skilled technicians who do impeccable work for their customers. For wood door customers, the process includes three primary steps: 1) sanding the door down to the bare wood; 2) staining the door to the customer’s choice of color; and 3) applying four coats of clear sealer and a protectant finish. They lightly sand between each coating to ensure a smooth application and use the latest in high tech finishes, which allows multiple coats to be applied within a shorter time frame.
